My name is Christopher Atlan, and I founded Creative in Austria back in 2006. Since then, I’ve been the lead developer behind Stocks and Letter Opener, and chief customer support counsel, too.

Rewritten for Mac OS X 10.7 Lion and support for non-english character sets.

With the launch of the Mac App Store the often requested Lite version of Letter Opener was released.

iOS matured over time, and so by 2010 it was finally possible to create a version of Letter Opener for it.

It started its life as Mac Application, but when the iPad was announced all plans where changed.

With version 2 came beside a much better integration into Mail the new name Letter Opener and the matching icon.
